Dr. William F. Hawn was born in Fargo, North Dakota, and has resided in the Chippewa Valley since 1981 and joined the Chippewa Valley Eye Clinic in 1999.
Dr. Hawn received his bachelor of science degree from St. Johns University in Collegeville, Minnesota, in biology. He attended medical school at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, North Dakota for two years and completed his medical school education at the University of Nebraska School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. Following medical school, he did an internship year at the University of Nebraska Hospital and completed his ophthalmology residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
Dr. Hawn has been Board Certified in Ophthalmology since 1982 and is licensed in Wisconsin. He is currently a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
